We are looking for an experienced L3 Application Support Engineer to support and maintain the GMI (FIS) application for a leading Investment Bank. The role involves handling advanced technical issues, ensuring application stability, and providing user support.

Requirements
  • Strong hands-on experience with AS/400 (IBM i / iSeries).
  • 6+ years of experience in application support or technical support (L3).
  • Experience handling production incidents and system troubleshooting.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Provide L3 (Level 3) support for the GMI (FIS) application.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues on AS/400 systems.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of the GMI platform.
  • Work closely with business users and operations teams to support daily activities.
  • Coordinate with vendors (FIS) when required for issue resolution.
  • Participate in change management, upgrades, and patch implementations.
  • Ensure compliance with IT controls, security, and operational procedures.
