Job summary

Sierra seeks a senior leader to head Sales Engineering across APJ, shaping the technical GTM strategy and ensuring customers receive expert guidance during engagements. You will mentor a growing team, drive demos, and align Sales with Product and Engineering to deliver outstanding AI agent solutions.

Based in or leading APJ operations, you will partner with regional sales leaders to expand Sierra's presence, adapt motions to local markets, and build lasting customer relationships with executives

Qualifications

• 6+ years managing a team of Sales Engineers or Solutions Engineers.
• Experience building demos and presenting to GTM customers.
• Experience in relationship-building with executives and technical leaders.
• Experience leading the sales process with Enterprise customers.
• Track record deploying Sales/Solutions Engineering teams across APJ: SEA, ANZ, Korea, Japan.
• Ability to connect a prospect’s business problems with Sierra’s solutions and explain to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor's Degree or above; CS background bonus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Sales Engineering team; reports to Head of Sales Engineering.
• Set and monitor KPIs and performance expectations for the team.
• Design and demo Sierra’s Agent product; provide technical solutions for customer needs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product and Agent Engineering to improve products and processes.
• Lead early customer conversations as GTM and technical leader.
• Identify and strengthen partnerships between Sales Engineering and Sales to align objectives and enable seamless engagements.
• Lead across APJ and adapt the technical sales motion to each market’s customers, languages, and buying processes.
