VAST Data is seeking a Director of Pre-Sales for APJ to lead the technical conversation with customers and executives across the region. You will own the technical strategy, shape large deals, and build a high-performing team of pre-sales engineers who can scale with the business.

You will travel across APJ, present to CIO/CTO audiences, and collaborate with sales leadership to define the region's product and capability requirements.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years in pre-sales or solutions engineering, including leadership across multiple countries.
• Real depth in AI infrastructure: GPU compute, training and inference pipelines, data platforms.
• Executive presence in front of CIO/CTO audiences and board-level discussions.
• APAC market experience across several countries and cultures.
• Proven ability to build, coach and scale engineering talent.
• Willing and able to travel 50–60% across APJ.

• Lead regional Pre-Sales strategy and execution across APJ, in partnership with sales leadership.
• Shape architecture, business case, and executive narrative for large opportunities.
• Build and mentor a distributed pre-sales engineering team across multiple countries.
• Represent VAST at executive briefings, events, and with key partners in the region.
