A leading healthcare provider in Singapore is seeking a qualified Consultant Anatomical Pathologist to join their team. This role involves diagnostic reporting, quality control, and educational responsibilities. Candidates must hold a medical degree recognized by the Singapore Medical Council and have relevant postgraduate qualifications. A Consultant Surgical (Anatomic) Pathologist position is now available at one of the long standing tertiary hospitals in Singapore.
The facility is a 795-bed general and acute care hospital located in the Northern part of Singapore. It is part of one of the major healthcare groups in Singapore who provide tertiary healthcare to a resident population of 1.5 million living in the central and northern regions of Singapore.
The position is based in the Anatomic Pathology Section of the Department of Laboratory Medicine (DLM). The anatomical pathology laboratory is accredited with the College of American Pathologists (CAP).
The Surgical Pathologist will work closely with surgical pathology colleagues from two other hospitals to provide anatomical pathology services to the main hospital and the adjoining Community Hospital.
Candidates should be qualified and experienced with a medical degree suitable for registration with the Singapore Medical Council, and a specialist postgraduate qualification such as FRCPA, FRCPath with CCT from the UK, or Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology from the U.S., for accreditation as a Specialist Pathologist with the Singapore Specialists Accreditation Board. Appointment will be based on the relevant number of years of experience as a Surgical Pathologist.
