Job Summary

Accounts Officer / Supervisor (Trust Accounts) to manage full sets of trust accounts for assigned properties. The role includes handling financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supervising junior staff where applicable. This is a great opportunity for candidates with strong accounting skills to grow in a dynamic and supportive team.

Responsibilities
  • Manage full sets of accounts and ensure timely month-end closings.
  • Process cheques, bank deposits, and maintain debtor records.
  • Issue monthly invoices and statements (e.g., maintenance, sinking fund).
  • Handle supplier payments, petty cash, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial reports, journal entries, and audit documentation.
  • Submit GST returns and Section 47(1)(c) certificates.
  • Collect estate-related fees and maintain accurate records.
  • Liaise with auditors and support AGM/EOGM preparations (for Supervisor level)
  • Mentor new Accounts Assistants and guide junior team members (for Supervisor level).
  • Review and ensure the accuracy of invoices, statements, GST submissions, bank reconciliations, audit reports, journal entries, and supplier payments (for Supervisor level).
Qualifications
  • Diploma or LCCI in Accounting or related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in similar field (1–2 years in supervisory capacity for Supervisor level).
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
