Job summary

A local company in Singapore is seeking a candidate for day-to-day accounting operations. Responsibilities include managing payable and receivable accounts, preparing monthly sales reports, and coordinating shipments. The role requires a minimum educational qualification of N level or higher, good time management skills, and at least 1 year of relevant experience. The office is located in Boon Lay and operates Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 18:30. Candidates who can start immediately are preferred.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Handles day-to-day accounting operation (Payable & Receivable).
  • Update cash book, issue cheque, and payment vouchers to creditors.
  • Prepare monthly sales commission report.
  • Prepare Letter of Credit and bank guarantee for the import shipment.
  • Coordinate with shipping agents and haulers to schedule the shipments and manage the shipping documentations.
  • Attend incoming calls.
  • Filling and other ad-hoc job assigned by Superior.
Requirements
  • Minimum educational qualification: N level or higher.
  • Able to start immediately or within short notice period will be an added advantage
  • Good time management skills, ability to meet deadlines, and strong attention to detail.
  • Preferably with at least 1-year relevant experience.
  • Meticulous, Independent, responsible and willing to learn.
  • Good team player with good communication and initiative.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Additional Information
  • Office location: Boon Lay.
  • Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, from 08:30 to 18:30.
  • Singaporean and Permanent Resident only.
