Job summary

A trading company in Singapore is looking for a candidate to manage data entry and invoicing. This role involves maintaining customer records and handling communications in English and Mandarin. Candidates should have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience and must be able to work under pressure. A 5.5 days work week with occasional Saturdays is required. The position offers a contract completion bonus and opportunities for learning and development.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of local map reading is an added advantage.

  • Accurately enter data into the accounting system.
  • Generate customer invoices in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and update debtor records in the accounting system.
  • Operate the weighbridge effectively.
  • Handle incoming calls/emails.
  • Assist with documentation preparation for ISO audits.
  • Perform general administrative duties.

Job Description
  • Accurately and promptly enter data into the accounting system, including creating invoices and updating supplier/customer information.
  • Generate customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner based on the established billing schedule.
  • Maintain and update debtor records in the accounting system, and monitor customer payment cycles.
  • Operate the weighbridge effectively by ensuring vehicles are weighed promptly and weight data is recorded accurately.
  • To handle incoming calls/emails
  • Participate in ISO audits and assist with documentation preparation, including compiling toolbox meeting content.
  • Perform general administrative duties to support the smooth operation of daily business activities.
Job Requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Good command of English (read and write)
  • Able to communicate English & Mandarin in view of business communication with the Mandarin speaking associates
