Job summary

A leading airline company in Singapore is seeking a Payroll Officer to join its Finance Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for timely payroll data processing, ensuring compliance with employment tax regulations, and preparing salary statements for overseas staff. Ideal candidates should hold a diploma in Accountancy, possess knowledge of SAP HR/Payroll systems, and demonstrate effective time management and interpersonal skills. This is a full-time permanent position offering a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

  • Must have a diploma in Accountancy with good knowledge of financial systems.
  • Experience with SAP HR/Payroll will be a plus.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and communicate well.

Responsibilities

Job Description

The successful candidate will be part of the Group Payrolls department in Finance Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Timely Processing of Payroll Data
  • Report employment income tax for foreign employees to IRAS
  • Prepare and send salary statements after payroll run for overseas posted staff before pay day
  • Processing of NS Make-Up Claims
  • Ensure that Government Paid Leave Claims are filed timely and accurately
  • Perform payroll accuracy checks
  • Backup for reconciliation & reporting on payroll suspense accounts
  • Assist in User Acceptance Testing for projects system enhancements and bug fixes
  • Any other adhoc duties
Requirements
  • Diploma in Accountancy
  • Knowledge of SAP HR / Payrolls systems will be an advantage
  • Meticulous
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Effective communications and problem solving skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Must be a team player
