A consulting firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to manage end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, and tax functions. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accountancy and at least 4 years of experience in financial reporting and statutory compliance. Key responsibilities include leading monthly financial closings and managing treasury operations. Strong SAP proficiency and team leadership skills are essential for this role. Manage end-to-end accounting, statutory reporting, tax, and treasury functions, while ensuring compliance with financial standards and corporate policies.
Lead monthly and quarterly financial closing, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
Prepare payroll journals, personnel cost provisions, and office cost allocations
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting in corporate systems
Prepare consolidated management accounts (Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, divisional P&L, overhead recovery)
Support year-end activities, including tax computation and deferred tax calculations
Act as key liaison with group finance teams, handling queries, reporting deadlines, and technical accounting matters
Oversee quarterly GST filings with IRAS
Manage interim and annual audits for Group IFRS and Local GAAP reporting
Prepare ECI submissions, tax organizers, and review tax computations from external agents
Ensure timely filing of audited accounts and annual returns with ACRA
Manage all banking and cash management operations and maintain relationships with banking partners
Oversee corporate and purchasing cards administration
Prepare and submit monthly liquidity and treasury reports
Execute transactions and coordinate with corporate treasury for financial planning
Maintain Bank Account Management (BAM) system and monitor daily cash positions
Support treasury policy implementation and manage treasury-related exemptions
Lead Tax Compliance Management System (CMS) implementation and reviews
Support updates to corporate Taxation Policy
Prepare group tax reporting and transfer pricing documentation
Liaise with tax consultants on transfer pricing studies
Lead annual ASK reviews
Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
Minimum 4 years’ experience, preferably in financial reporting and full-set accounts
Hands-on experience in month-end closing, tax, and statutory reporting
SAP proficiency and strong MS Office skills
Proven ability to lead a team in a high-volume environment
Independent, self‑motivated, and comfortable working with regional stakeholders
