Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking an Accounting Support professional in Singapore. The role involves accounting support focusing on inventory data and inventory management tasks essential for operations in Guinea. Ideal candidates will have a Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance and 3-5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Autocount systems is preferred. Job description
Responsibilities

Accounting Support (System Entry & Admin)

  • Support basic accounting functions with a focus on inventory-related data.

  • Input and reconcile inventory transactions, purchase orders, and supplier invoices into the accounting system.

  • Organize and file financial and transactional records to support month-end closing.

  • Assist with documentation required for audits or internal checks.

Inventory Management

  • Manage and maintain accurate records of equipment, spare parts, and consumables for the Guinea operations.

  • Coordinate with the procurement team to verify and document incoming inventory shipments.

  • Track and record all inventory movements in the warehouse management system in a timely manner.

  • Prepare monthly inventory reports for both operational and accounting review.

  • Plan and coordinate bi-annual stocktakes with the Guinea site team to ensure inventory accountability.

  • Identify and improve gaps in inventory tracking and documentation processes.

  • Analyze major inventory usage trends and provide reports to support decision-making.

  • Maintain proper filing of all inventory-related documents.

Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • About 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience with inventory or finance systems

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting Autocount systems.

  • Good attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Able to work independently and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
