Job summary

A leading electrical and automation firm in Singapore is looking for an experienced accountant to manage a full set of accounts, prepare monthly financial reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Applicants should have a Diploma or Degree in Accountancy and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with MYOB will be advantageous. This role demands meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • Min 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in MYOB system would be an advantage.
  • Meticulous, independent, and has good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in intermediate Excel & other MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily accounting & finance duties including general ledger, tax, and bank reconciliation.
  • Prepare monthly financial and management reports for subsidiaries.
  • Consolidate accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assist in group consolidation reports.
  • In-charge of the full set of accounts.
  • Do inter-company balances and transactions reconciliation.
  • Monthly bank reconciliation.
  • Monthly closing accounts, schedules, and reports.
  • In-charge of quarterly GST reporting and submission.

Responsibilities
  • Perform daily accounting & finance duties including general ledger, tax and bank reconciliation, etc.;
  • Prepare monthly financial and management reports for subsidiaries;
  • Consolidate accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards;
  • Assist in group consolidation reports;
  • To be in-charge of the full set of accounts
  • To do inter-company balances and transactions Reconciliation
  • Monthly bank reconciliation
  • Monthly closing Accounts, schedules, reconciliations and reports
  • To be in –charge of the quarterly GST reporting and submission
  • Other Ad Hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Min 2 years of relevant experiences
  • Diploma / Degree in Accountancy
