Job summary

A leading electrical and automation firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced accountant to manage daily accounting and finance duties, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Candidates should have a Diploma/Degree in Accountancy and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in MYOB is advantageous. The role demands meticulousness, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Meticulous and independent with strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient in intermediate Excel and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily accounting & finance duties including general ledger and bank reconciliation.
  • Prepare monthly financial and management reports for subsidiaries.
  • In charge of full set of accounts and quarterly GST reporting.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Perform daily accounting & finance duties including general ledger, tax and bank reconciliation, etc.;
  • Prepare monthly financial and management reports for subsidiaries;
  • Consolidate accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards;
  • Assist in group consolidation reports;
  • To be in-charge of the full set of accounts
  • To do inter-company balances and transactions Reconciliation
  • Monthly bank reconciliation
  • Monthly closing Accounts, schedules, reconciliations and reports
  • To be in –charge of the quarterly GST reporting and submission
  • Other Ad Hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Min 2 years of relevant experiences
  • Diploma/Degree in Accountancy
  • Prior experience in MYOB system would be an advantage
  • Meticulous, independent and has good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in intermediate Excel & other MS office application
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles;
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment;
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
