Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform the full set of accounts, including month-end closing, journal entries, accounts reconciliation and reporting.
• Prepare accruals (e.g. freight, brokerage, commission) and perform balance reconciliations.
• Conduct detailed monthly variance analysis for relevant accounting ledgers.
• Assist in preparing monthly management schedules.
• Prepare the Singapore entity reporting package and tax schedules.
• Prepare accounting schedules and liaise with external auditors and internal tax teams.
• Prepare and submit GST and withholding tax filings to IRAS.
• Support annual budgeting and monitor forecasts, making adjustments as needed.
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments as required.

Qualifications & Pre-requisites:

• Degree in Accounting or Professional Accounting Certification with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Prior audit experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of SAP Business One and COGNOS is an advantage.
• Good understanding of Singapore FRS.
• Proficient in MS Word & Excel.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to delivering results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
