Our client, a leading Fintech/IoT service provider, is seeking a Account Manager (Public Sector) to drive revenue growth and secure a dominant position within the local Public Sector. This role focuses on acquiring new government accounts and expanding existing relationships for IT manpower, outsourcing, and project-based solutions. Success requires a deep understanding of government procurement, a strong hunting mentality, and the ability to articulate complex, multi-vendor ecosystem solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue & Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic business plan to achieve and exceed sales targets for IT services (staffing, outsourcing, projects) within Public Sector accounts.
- Tender Management: Own the full government tender lifecycle, including opportunity identification, preparation leadership, and successful post-submission follow-up.
- Account Growth: Build and maintain deep, long-lasting relationships from working-level personnel to decision-makers, actively driving up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Ecosystem Solutioning: Serve as a subject matter expert, articulating how internal products, payment services, and partner technologies integrate to form holistic, complex solutions for government challenges.
- Vendor Management: Source, engage, and manage a network of external manpower and technology partners to ensure the delivery of required expertise and comprehensive client solutions.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in Enterprise Account Management, consistently meeting quotas, with a proven track record of selling services to the Public Sector.
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of the public sector procurement process, specifically for IT manpower/staffing and professional services.
- Technical Acumen: Strong background or knowledge in IT, software, cloud services, and the specific technology roles required by government agencies.
- Ecosystem Focus: Proven ability to appreciate, architect, and articulate complex, multi-vendor ecosystem solutions that may include payment/Fintech components.
- Tender & Contracts: Hands-on experience in successfully leading and driving government tender submissions and literacy in business contracts/agreements.
