Job summary

A shipping services company in Singapore is seeking an experienced accountant to manage the full set of accounts. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, ensuring accurate ledger closing, and managing GST reports. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Accounting, 2-3 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Immediate starters are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience with knowledge of full set of accounts.
  • Able to converse well in English.
  • Those able to start work immediately or on short notice will be preferred.

Overview

Responsibilities
  • Handling full-set of accounts including AP/AR.
  • Prepare invoices, debit and credit notes for customers.
  • Prepare payment and receipt in daily basis.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly closing of ledger systems.
  • Preparation of GST report/ monthly management reporting/ bank reconciliation and journal entries.
  • Liaise with Operations team on accounting-related matters.
  • Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Initiative and ability to work well in a team-based environment with a positive attitude but good to also possess the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational, prioritization and multitasking skills.
  • Qualifications Minimum Diploma in Accounting.
  • Experience in this role is required - minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience with knowledge for full set of accounts required.
  • Those with relevant experience will be most advantageous.
  • Able to converse well in English.
  • Those able to start work immediately or short notice will be preferred
