Job summary

A local construction finance firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced accounting professional. The role involves daily accounting duties like Accounts Receivable, Payable, and General Ledger for construction projects. Candidates should have a Degree in Accountancy or ACCA, possess strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, and ideally have 3-5 years of relevant experience. A meticulous approach and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience preferred.
• Experience in the Construction industry is advantageous.
• Self-starter, able to plan and organize effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting & finance duties for construction projects.
• Conduct cash flow updates and prepare bank reconciliations.
• Liaise with suppliers and resolve discrepancies.

Skills

Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards

Education

Job description

Work Location: Tanjong Katong Complex

Job Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting & finance duties including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and General Ledger for construction projects
• Conduct cash flows updates and monitoring and prepare bank reconciliations
• Liaise with suppliers and business units on any discrepancies in invoices and other supporting documents.
• Preparation of audit schedules
• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements, financial accounting regulations, policies and procedures
• Liaise with Auditor
• Other ad-hoc finance reports/duties assigned by the Management

Job Requirements

• Candidate should at least possess a Degree in Accountancy, ACCA qualification or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
• Preferably have 3-5 years of relevant working experience
• Candidates with prior experience in the Construction industry will be advantageous.
• A self-starter who is able to plan, organize and take initiative to meet job objectives and tight deadlines
• Able to adapt to dynamic & fast-pace environment.
• Must be meticulous & attentive to details
• Good communication skills and Independent
