Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to maintain and support client desktop environments on-site at the Toh Guan Road location. The role requires strong Windows 10/11 knowledge and hands-on imaging via PXE.

You will manage incidents, IMAC and deskside services, and hardware/software break-fix while handling conference room and remote support. 2–4 years of experience in engineering firms or large companies is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Windows 10/11 OS and IT support fundamentals.
• Imaging Windows 11 using PXE boot.
• Experience with SCCM, Software Center and manual software installs.
• Hands-on hardware experience including Dell break-fix.

Responsibilities

• Manage desktop incidents from start to resolution.
• Handle IMAC and deskside support services.
• Perform hardware and software break-fix for laptops/desktops.
• Provide conference room, remote desktop and event support at client sites.
• Maintain desktop configurations, patch updates and hardware replacements.
• Analyze service desk data to identify training needs and automation opportunities.
• Ensure correct desktop images are installed on devices.
• Monitor security profiles and antivirus, enforce compliance.
• Provide VIP deskside support and be the primary IT contact on site.

Desktop Support Engineer

5 days, 8.30am to 6pm
Salary: $2,800 - $3,500
Work Location: Toh Guan Road

Requirement

• Knowledge and experience on Windows 10/11 OS
• Experience in imaging Windows 11 using Pxe boot
• Worked on software installation using SCCM, Software Center, and manually
• Hands-on experience replacing batteries and working with Dell technicians on hardware break-fix
• Experience using Intune, AD, BitLocker
• Experience in Outlook administration
• Experience in Humanscale troubleshooting
• Experience working in engineering firms or large companies
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience
• Experience with Service management tool such as ServiceNow

Job scope

• Manage desktop device (hardware, software, and connectivity) incidents through to resolution
• Manage IMAC and deskside support services
• Manage hard- and soft-break fix services for laptops and desktops
• Provide Conference room support, Remote Desktop support and Event Support at the customer location
• Support, manage, optimize, and maintain the configuration and installation of the desktop including patch updates and hardware replacements
• Analyze service desk calls for desktop devices and incident data to identify and advise customers of potential user training requirements and automation
• Ensure that each desktop device is installed with the appropriate desktop image
• Monitor security profiles and anti-virus software on all Desktop Devices and take appropriate action in the event of non-compliance
• Provide VIP support for deskside issues per contract and be the point of contact at the site for all IT-related issues if no other IT support team is available
