Job summary

A leading finance consultancy firm in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Manager/Manager in Finance. Responsibilities include performing Group Consolidation, supporting reporting to stakeholders, and guiding regional finance teams on accounting standards. Candidates must have a Degree in Accounting with Singapore Chartered Accountant Qualification and at least 6 years of relevant experience, including Big 4 experience. Job description
Responsibilities
  • As an Assistant Manager/Manager in Finance, you will be responsible for performing Group Consolidation and supporting monthly and quarterly reporting to internal stakeholders, including senior management, board members, and shareholders. Other key roles include:
  • Collaborate with regional subsidiaries, associates, and joint ventures to review financial submissions and consolidate their results.
  • Analyse regional financial performance, including tracking of various financial metrics.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly group reports and presentations for management and various stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance to regional finance teams on accounting treatments and standards.
  • Assist with the preparation of the year-end Group consolidated accounts (including preparation of XBRL submission with ACRA) and liaise with external auditors as required.
  • Maintain and update Group accounting policies, ensuring compliance with SFRS(I) and addressing new accounting developments.
  • Participate in key initiatives driven by Group Finance and other ad-hoc projects
  • Any other duties or projects as assigned
Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting, with Singapore Chartered Accountant Qualification
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience, including Big 4 exposure and hands-on experience in Group Consolidation and financial reporting
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4Hana, Group Reporting and SAC is an advantage.
  • Strong technical foundation with good understanding of accounting standards, able to interpret complex accounting issues and provide guidance to relevant stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
