- The Deutsche Bank Graduate Programme:
As a global Private Bank we combine Deutsche Bank’s activities in Wealth Management, Private Banking and Personal Banking into one division. We serve >20m clients globally with >500 bn Eur assets under management and close to 9bn Eur revenues in 2022. Within Wealth Management we support wealthy individuals, entrepreneurs, family offices and foundations in Germany, Europe, Americas, Asia and Middle East and Africa with bespoke investments and lending solutions. We collaborate closely with the Corporate & Investment Bank and DWS to address both the personal and corporate needs of our clients and create sustainable partnerships and lasting value over time.
Our 1-year Wealth Management Asia Programme structure provides for enhanced client focus, greater clarity on career pathing and structured learning.
During the first year you will focus on learning across the Private Bank e.g. about the Sales, Products, Advisory, Business Management/COO and Risk of the Wealth Management business and contribute to their design & development as you spend time with the respective Product teams, as they are critical for our clients to achieve their financial goals and to maximize opportunities. This will give you a broad-based overview of all facets of Wealth Management. During the second year you will have the chance to work alongside Relationship & Investment Managers or continue to specialize in Product areas. By developing individual solutions, you can master your analytical, interpersonal and advisory skills and gain extensive experience in dealing with demanding clients, both internal and external. You will be trained by the best, evolve professionally as well as personally, and build a firm foundation for your career progression.
What we look for:
We recruit students and graduates who are intelligent and adaptable with excellent interpersonal skills. They have degrees in many different disciplines. Even though good levels of numeracy are important for some roles, you won’t necessarily need a formal mathematical or financial background. We have very comprehensive training programmes that will give you all the technical knowledge you’ll need to build a career with us.
You should not only be passionate about the world of finance, but also show a keen interest in your chosen field. You already have a record of academic achievement and you’re eager to go on learning at the same intensive rate. You’ll thrive on working in a highly collaborative and diverse culture with some of the best minds in banking.
To be eligible for the 2026 Graduate Programme, you must:
- Complete your studies (all final exams, coursework and have no outstanding requirements for graduation) between 1st January 2025 and 31st July 2026.
- Be able to start full time work in July 2026, subject to local working legislation and visa requirements.
- Possess no more than 12 months full-time, relevant work experience.
