Role:

Siemens PLC Automation Engineer (Up to $5000)

• Singapore Based (Changi)
• 5 Days work per week (8am to 6pm)
• $3000 to $5000 + AWS
• Diploma/Degree in Engineering discipline. + 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing industries with a technical background.
• Hands-on experience with equipment and machinery. + Ability to lead and manage a team of technicians.
• Knowledge of PLC, MHI, Motion Control, and Robotics will be an advantage.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Training or degree in Plant Manufacturing Techniques and Procedures.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
Knowledge of computer software and programming is an advantage.

Job Description & Requirements:
The Plant Engineer will play a vital role in supporting plant operations and enhancing manufacturing efficiencies.
The role involves planning and coordinating manufacturing activities within industrial plants, including the installation, modification, optimization, and maintenance of equipment and machinery.
Additionally, the Plant Engineer will contribute to maintaining a safe work environment, ensuring fairness, equality, and non-discriminatory practices.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform general equipment maintenance.
Manage spare parts inventory control to minimize downtime.
Carry out other operational duties as required by the plant’s needs.

Competencies:
Strong troubleshooting skills for equipment issues.
Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings.
Experience with the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of machinery/equipment.
Ability to seek solutions to meet production requirements from an engineering perspective.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and Project Management tools.
Conduct testing and diagnose machine malfunctions or failures, including routine maintenance.
Strong people and contractor management skills.

Travel Requirement:
Travel for this position will be up to 10%.
