A leading telecommunications firm in Dhahran Compound seeks a Transport Manager to lead the planning and design of its national transport network infrastructure. The role entails managing transport expansion, overseeing link design for DWDM and IP/MPLS elements, and ensuring interoperability among various teams. Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or related fields, have over 4 years of relevant experience, and demonstrate strong leadership and vendor coordination skills. This position is crucial for ensuring high availability and scalability across transport domains.

- 4+ years of experience in designing and planning transport network infrastructure.
- Experience in Network Automation & Orchestration in a multi-vendor environment.
Responsabilités
- Lead the architecture and engineering of the transport network.
- Manage transport expansion, node upgrades, and routing design.
- Oversee link design and commissioning of DWDM and IP/MPLS elements.
- Collaborate with field, core, and RAN teams for connectivity.
- Monitor network KPIs, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations.
- Coordinate vendor engagement for equipment procurement and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with availability and SLA objectives.
- Support strategic planning initiatives like 400G readiness.

Formation
The Transport Manager leads the planning and design of ADC’s national transport network infrastructure. This includes optical (DWDM), microwave, and IP/MPLS systems that connect RAN, core, and data centers. The role ensures high availability, scalability, and security across transport domains and supports future evolution into programmable and automated networks.
- Lead the architecture and engineering of ADC’s transport network, ensuring alignment with service demands and future capacity requirements.
- Manage transport expansion, node upgrades, and routing design across national fiber and microwave infrastructure.
- Oversee link design, provisioning, and commissioning of DWDM, OTN, and IP/MPLS elements.
- Collaborate with field, core, and RAN teams to ensure seamless cross-domain connectivity.
- Monitor transport network KPIs, troubleshoot service issues, and implement optimization measures.
- Coordinate vendor engagement for equipment procurement, support, and software upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with availability, latency, and SLA objectives across transport domains.
- Support strategic planning initiatives such as 400G readiness, segment routing, and SDN-based transport.
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- +4 years of experience in designing and planning transport network infrastructure.
- Experience in Network Automation & Orchestration in a multi-vendor environment.
- Expertise in IP/MPLS, DWDM, microwave systems, link budgeting, and QoS.
- Familiarity with transport NMS/EMS tools, path computation, and network automation strategies.
- Strong leadership, planning, and vendor coordination skills.
