Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year technical/vocational qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Environmental/Chemical studies or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants and related equipment.
• Hands-on WWTP processes and equipment knowledge: pumps, dosing, sludge handling, filtration and water quality monitoring.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical/electrical systems and read engineering drawings, P&IDs.
• Familiarity with SAP, MS Office, RCA, PDCA and 5S.
• Familiarity with PLC, BMS, DCS, SCADA or HMI control systems is an advantage.
• Based in Jeddah or willing to relocate to Jeddah.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain the WWTP to ensure treated water quality meets standards.
• Perform routine operation and maintenance of WWTP equipment.
• Monitor treatment parameters, perform laboratory analysis, and adjust chemical dosing.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and control issues and support maintenance activities.
• Inspect equipment, identify abnormalities and take corrective actions to ensure reliable operation.
• Record maintenance and operational activities in SAP and support continuous improvement.
• Ensure safe handling of chemicals, tools and PPE and maintain housekeeping across WWTP areas.
• Comply with HSE, environmental, HACCP, GMP, 5S and company standards.

What will you be doing at MBRF?

• Operate, monitor and maintain the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) to ensure treated water quality meets company and environmental standards
• Perform routine operation and maintenance of WWTP equipment, including air blowers, pumps, screens, sludge separation and transfer systems, dosing systems, clarifiers and related treatment equipment
• Monitor treatment parameters, perform laboratory analysis, maintain operational records and adjust chemical dosing when required
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and control-related issues and support corrective, preventive and scheduled maintenance activities
• Inspect equipment regularly, identify abnormalities and take corrective actions to ensure reliable operation and minimize downtime
• Record maintenance and operational activities accurately in SAP and support continuous improvement activities
• Ensure proper handling of chemicals, tools and PPE and maintain good housekeeping across WWTP areas
• Ensure all activities comply with HSE, environmental, HACCP, GMP, 5S, food safety and company standards

What kind of profile are we looking for?

• Minimum 2-year technical/vocational qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Environmental/Chemical studies or a related technical field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants and related equipment, preferably within the Food/FMCG industry
• Hands-on knowledge of WWTP processes and equipment, including pumps, blowers, chemical dosing, sludge handling, filtration and water quality monitoring
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical/electrical systems and read engineering drawings, P&IDs and relevant technical diagrams
• Knowledge of water/wastewater analysis, chemical handling, HSE and applicable environmental standards; familiarity with SAP, MS Office, RCA, PDCA and 5S
• Familiarity with PLC, BMS, DCS, SCADA or HMI control systems is an advantage
• Based in Jeddah or willing to relocate to Jeddah, with flexibility to commute to the factory location
