Job summary

The Career Nest is seeking an experienced Head Pastry Chef to lead the pastry and bakery operations for a premium café concept in Al Khobar. You will shape the brand through craft, precision, and innovative execution while guiding a dedicated pastry team.

You will drive menu development, maintain the highest quality standards, and manage costs, inventory, and supplier relationships to ensure exceptional guest experiences and commercial success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years pastry experience, including 2–3 years in a leadership role within a premium patisserie, fine dining restaurant, or upscale café concept.
• Proven expertise in high-end pastry, viennoiserie, and baked goods, with strong attention to flavor balance, texture, and presentation.
• Experience managing production planning in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pastry and bakery production, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Lead the pastry team, plan production schedules and staffing.
• Contribute to menu development and product innovation.
• Manage food cost, waste reduction, and supplier coordination.
• Ensure food safety and regulatory compliance.
