Job summary

Career Nest Academy seeks an experienced Head Pastry Chef to lead pastry and bakery operations for a premium café concept in Al Khobar. You will shape the venue identity through craftsmanship, innovation, and operational discipline, guiding a pastry team and influencing menu strategy.

You will drive high-end pastry quality, viennoiserie, and baked goods while controlling costs, ensuring safety, and collaborating with senior culinary leadership on tastings and seasonal launches.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of professional pastry experience with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role in premium patisserie, fine dining, or upscale café concepts.
• Proven expertise in high-end pastry, viennoiserie, and baked goods with strong presentation.
• Experience managing production planning in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to mentor and develop junior chefs while maintaining discipline and high performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all pastry and bakery production ensuring consistency, quality, and luxury standards.
• Lead the pastry team, manage daily operations, and contribute to menu development and product innovation.
• Manage food cost, portion control, waste reduction, and supplier coordination to optimize profitability.
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and local regulatory standards.
• Maintain brand alignment and elevate guest experience through meticulous quality and presentation.
