Job summary

Career Nest Academy in Al Khobar seeks an experienced Head Pastry Chef to lead our pastry and bakery operations for a premium café concept. You will oversee production, guide menu development, and ensure exceptional quality and consistency across all offerings while aligning with international luxury standards.

The role requires leadership, technical mastery in high-end pastry, viennoiserie, and baked goods, plus a proven ability to manage production planning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-8 years of professional pastry experience, including at least 2-3 years in a leadership role within a premium patisserie, fine dining restaurant, or upscale café concept.
• Proven expertise in high-end pastry, viennoiserie, and baked goods, with strong attention to flavor balance, texture, and presentation.
• Experience managing production planning in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor pastry team with clarity, structure, and high-performance standards.
• Develop refined pastry and bakery menus aligned with brand identity.
• Manage food cost, portion control, and waste reduction to optimize profitability.
• Oversee inventory, supplier coordination, and purchasing to maintain ingredient quality.
• Ensure production schedules are organized and aligned with daily business needs.
• Enforce strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and local regulatory standards.
• Maintain pastry quality and presentation to meet brand expectations.
