Job summary

Siemens Energy Company Ltd. in Dammam is seeking a Technical Sales Support specialist who analyzes customer needs, prepares accurate bids for switchgear, and helps align technical proposals with production capacity.

You will join a team focused on operational excellence, collaboration with engineering, and ensuring timely delivery against sales pipelines. You will coordinate with Estimation and Factory Loading teams, validate schedules, and act as the technical interface between sales, project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in technical sales support, bidding, or engineering within switchgear or power transmission.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing/factory environment in Saudi Arabia is highly preferred.
• Deep understanding of medium/high voltage switchgear technologies and electrical grid systems.
• Expertise in technical estimation, cost calculation, and proposal drafting for industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze technical specifications and customer requirements to prepare accurate and competitive technical bids for switchgear products.
• Collaborate with engineering and estimation teams to define cost structures, technical compliance, and risk assessments for proposals.
• Draft technical descriptions, compliance statements, and bid documentation in line with company standards and customer expectations.
• Coordinate with Factory Loading & Operational Excellence team to evaluate production capacity against incoming sales pipelines and project timelines.
• Assess the technical feasibility of delivery schedules for new bids, ensuring the factory meets committed lead times.
• Act as the primary technical interface between sales teams, project management, and factory operations to support continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Bring

• Prior experience in a manufacturing facility or factory operational environment in Saudi Arabia is highly preferred.
• Deep understanding of medium/high voltage switchgear technologies and electrical grid systems.
• Expertise in technical estimation, cost calculation, and proposal drafting for industrial equipment.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (such as SAP) and strong stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills.
