Job summary

Riyadh Air is seeking a Manager Technical Safety to provide safety oversight across Engineering and Maintenance, Ground Operations, and Cargo. You will lead hazard identification, risk assessment, investigations, and safety performance monitoring to ensure compliance with GACA, ICAO, and company requirements.

You will oversee third-party safety providers, conduct audits, and direct investigations with authorities, shaping a proactive safety culture for a new-generation airline.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in aviation safety.
• Lead investigator qualification or a plan to attain it.
• A recognised Aviation Safety Management System qualification is required.
• Auditor qualification to ISO 19011 or equivalent.
• Familiarity with ISAGO standards.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety oversight across Engineering and Maintenance, Ground Operations, and Cargo.
• Lead hazard identification, safety risk assessment, occurrence reporting and investigation, and safety performance monitoring.
• Oversee third-party ground handling and cargo service providers' safety performance and audits.
• Lead investigations into significant technical events with authorities and manufacturers.
• Represent the Safety Department across Engineering, Maintenance, and wider operations to strengthen safety culture.
