Job summary

Riyadh Air in Riyadh seeks a Manager Technical Safety to provide safety oversight across Engineering, Maintenance, Ground Operations, and Cargo, shaping a proactive safety culture as the airline scales.

You will lead hazard identification, risk assessments, investigations, and safety performance monitoring, ensure compliance with GACA/ICAO, and oversee third‑party safety providers to raise standards across the network.

Qualifications

• Five years of aviation safety experience including technical and airworthiness investigations.
• B1/B2 aircraft maintenance licence, or A&P licence, with strong technical knowledge.
• Aviation Safety Management System qualification and ISO 19011/audit experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead hazard identification and safety risk assessment across technical, ground, and cargo operations.
• Oversee safety investigations as lead investigator for technical/airworthiness events.
• Monitor safety performance and ensure compliance with GACA, ICAO, and company requirements.
• Represent Safety Department across Engineering, Maintenance, Ground Operations and Cargo forums.
• Shape safety framework and promote a proactive safety culture within Riyadh Air.
