You will oversee design, implementation, and QA of electrical systems, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery and alignment with Saudi Building Code and SCE standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required with strong design background.
• Active SCE membership and SBC knowledge preferred.
• 10+ years in electrical engineering for construction/infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical engineering team in design, development, and implementation for large-scale projects.
• Coordinate with PMs, architects, and other disciplines for seamless integration.
• Develop electrical designs, schematics, and layouts using industry tools.
• Ensure SBC and SCE compliance and safety standards across projects.
• Monitor progress, budgets, and timelines to meet quality targets.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical engineering team in the design development and implementation of electrical systems for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects
• Coordinate with project managers architects and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems
• Develop detailed electrical designs schematics and layouts using industry-standard tools such as AutoCAD Electrical and ETAP
• Ensure compliance with the Saudi Building Code SBC, Saudi Council of Engineers SCE regulations and other local and international standards
• Monitor project progress budgets and timelines to ensure deliverables are met within scope and quality parameters
• Conduct site inspections and audits to verify the quality and safety of electrical installations
• Implement energy-efficient and sustainable electrical solutions in alignment with green building standards such as Mostadam and LEED
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
• Prepare technical reports documentation and presentations for internal and client review
• Collaborate with procurement teams to evaluate and select electrical materials and equipment
• Identify and mitigate risks related to electrical systems ensuring adherence to safety protocols and standards
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the department

Working Conditions

• Location: Office-based in Khobar with regular site visits to construction and infrastructure project locations
• Travel: Occasional regional travel within Saudi Arabia may be required
• Environment: Combination of office and fieldwork fieldwork may involve exposure to construction site conditions including heat dust and noise
• Safety: Personal Protective Equipment PPE is mandatory during site visits
• Schedule: Full-time role with standard working hours flexibility required to meet project deadlines
