Job summary

Summit Power Company in Dammam is seeking an organized, hands-on engineer to connect customers, workshop, and suppliers. You will own each job from the initial inquiry to final delivery, preparing quotations, tracking progress, handling procurement, and keeping customers updated.

The role requires a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering and 2+ years in estimation or procurement, with strong Excel/Word skills and professional English writing; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in estimation, procurement, or job coordination.
• Degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills for tracking sheets and price comparisons.
• Clear, professional written English; Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Track all items in the facility, from customer equipment received for service to purchased materials and spare parts, and keep records accurate and up to date.
• Prepare technical and commercial quotations based on customer RFQs, specifications, and inspection findings.
• Monitor every job from receipt to delivery, follow up with the workshop, and ensure on-time completion.
• Handle procurement: request supplier quotations, compare prices, issue purchase orders, and follow up on deliveries.
• Communicate with customers by email and phone on quotations, technical clarifications, job status, and delivery.
• Prepare job progress reports and completion documentation.
• Coordinate with the workshop team and suppliers to keep jobs moving smoothly.
• Manage vendor registrations and prequalification documents with customers.

At Summit Power, we service and maintain electric motors, alternators, transformers, and related power equipment for clients across many industries in Saudi Arabia, from our 2,400 m² facility in Dammam.

We’re looking for an organized, hands‑on engineer to be the link between our customers, our workshop, and our suppliers. You’ll own each job from first inquiry to final delivery: preparing quotations, tracking items and job progress, handling procurement, and keeping customers updated.

Key Responsibilities

• Track all items in the facility, from customer equipment received for service to purchased materials and spare parts, and keep records accurate and up to date.
• Prepare technical and commercial quotations based on customer RFQs, specifications, and inspection findings.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• [2+] years of experience in estimation, procurement, or job coordination, preferably in industrial services.
• Ability to prepare quotations independently from customer RFQs.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills, especially for tracking sheets and price comparisons.
• Clear, professional written English for customer emails; Arabic is a plus.
• Working knowledge of procurement and supplier follow-up.
• Highly organized and detail‑oriented, able to manage many jobs at once and follow each one through to completion.

Preferred

• Background in electrical equipment repair or service (motors, alternators, transformers).
• Experience with an ERP, inventory, or job‑tracking system.
