Job summary

Almarai is seeking a Team Leader – Stores (Transport & Logistics) to supervise spare parts, tyres and oil stores and ensure timely provisioning of orders. You will implement inventory controls, coordinate with workshops, and monitor stock and costs in a fast-paced dairy and foods environment.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years in stores or logistics, a Bachelor’s in SCM/Logistics/BA, strong Excel skills, and a collaborative approach to improve efficiency while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• 0–2 years in stores, inventory control, warehousing, logistics or related field.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day operations of spare parts, tyres, and oil store to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Implement and maintain store systems and procedures for controlled inventory management.
• Collaborate with Workshop Supervisors and Team Manager to ensure timely availability of spare parts.
• Ensure supplier-recommended spare parts are stocked and available to support maintenance operations.
• Monitor and report daily/weekly/monthly store performance, inventory trends, and expenditure.
• Review and optimize minimum and maximum inventory levels.
• Identify operational challenges, recommend corrective actions, and monitor implementation.
• Maintain health, safety, and housekeeping standards across store operations.
• Analyze pricing and procurement trends to achieve cost efficiencies.

Job description

Job Title: Team Leader – Stores (Transport & Logistics)

Lead a team to ensure the timely and effective provisioning of orders, purchase, delivery, receipt storage and issue of all spare parts and equipment in line with Inventory Control Procedures and in a safe manner within laid down quality standards providing management with all necessary information and reports as specified.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the spare parts, tyres, and oil store to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Implement and maintain effective store systems and procedures to ensure controlled inventory management and optimal utilization of spare parts and equipment.
• Collaborate with Workshop Supervisors and the Team Manager to ensure the timely availability of all required spare parts.
• Ensure supplier-recommended spare parts are adequately stocked and readily available to support maintenance operations.
• Monitor and report daily, weekly, and monthly store performance, inventory trends, and expenditure to identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities.
• Review and optimize minimum and maximum inventory levels to maintain cost-effective stock availability.
• Identify operational challenges, recommend corrective actions, and monitor implementation to ensure continuous improvement.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and housekeeping standards across all store operations.
• Analyze spare parts pricing and procurement trends and provide recommendations to achieve cost efficiencies while maintaining quality and availability.

Experience Required: 0-2 years of experience in stores, inventory control, warehouse operations, supply chain, logistics, or a related field.

Education Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.

Skills Required:

• Basic understanding of inventory management and stock control principles.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
