Job summary

Fakeeh Care Group in Jeddah is seeking a System Administrator to design, implement, and maintain mission-critical enterprise systems. You will ensure high availability, security, and recovery procedures while acting as a technical expert for FCMS host servers.

Responsibilities include managing Windows, Linux, and Mac systems, upgrading software and hardware, troubleshooting with vendors, administering users and email, and documenting issues to support seamless operations.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of system administration experience.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• English fluency; Arabic preferred.

Job Purpose:

To design, plan, implement, and maintain mission-critical enterprise systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and recovery procedures. The role involves serving as a technical expert in system administration, recommending system redesigns, and providing high-level support to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities And Duties

• Manage the day-to-day operations of FCMS host servers by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance, and repair. Maintain records of system downtime and equipment inventory.
• Manage Windows, Linux, and Mac systems to ensure compatibility and efficiency.
• Upgrade, install, and configure application software and server hardware.
• Perform troubleshooting as required, leading problem-solving efforts involving outside vendors and support personnel.
• Establish, maintain, and manage user and email accounts. Install, modify, and maintain systems and utility software on server computer systems. Provide server support for other software.
• Answer questions and troubleshoot product issues, focusing on problem resolution and documentation.
• Monitor and manage the progression of user cases and assigned tasks through to closure.
• Participate in team efforts to continuously improve work routines, processes, and product knowledge.
• Facilitate strong working relationships with the Fakeeh Care Solutions Delivery team.
• Ensure high availability and acceptable performance levels of mission-critical host computer resources.
• Assist the help desk and other teams with troubleshooting to identify root causes and provide technical support when needed.
• Install, configure, and maintain servers and storage systems.
• Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, event log monitoring, and resource management, ensuring seamless system integration.
• Monitor datacenter health using management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise. Build, test, and maintain new servers as needed.
• Other duties as assigned within the scope of the job.

Skills And Abilities

• Strong knowledge of system administration for Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems.
• Proficiency in installing, configuring, and maintaining server hardware and software.
• Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving system and network issues.
• Ability to manage user accounts, email systems, and server support tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Knowledge of datacenter management and hardware maintenance.
• Ability to monitor system performance and ensure high availability of critical resources.

Experience

• 2 - 3 years of experience in system administration or a related role.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Language

• Excellent command of oral and written English and prefer Arabic.

Licenses / Certifications

• Professional certifications (e.g., MCSE, RHCE, CISSP) are highly desirable.
