Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Server & System Management

Install,configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers.

Monitorsystem performance and ensure high availability.

Applypatches, updates, and upgrades to operating systems and applications.

2. Network & Security

Collaboratewith network teams to ensure secure and efficient connectivity.

Implementand maintain system-level security policies and firewalls.

Monitorlogs and respond to security incidents.

3. Backup & Disaster Recovery

Managebackup systems and ensure data integrity.

Developand test disaster recovery plans.

Ensurebusiness continuity through regular system audits.

4. User & Access Management

Createand manage user accounts, permissions, and groups.

MaintainActive Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other core services.

Supportonboarding/offboarding processes from a systems perspective.

5. Troubleshooting & Support

Respondto system alerts and resolve issues promptly.

ProvideTier 2/3 support for escalated technical problems.

Documentsystem configurations and procedures.

6. Automation & Optimization

Developscripts to automate routine tasks (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).

Identifyopportunities to improve system efficiency and reliability.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’sdegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

3+years of experience in system administration.

Strongknowledge of Windows Server, Linux, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), andcloud platforms.

Familiaritywith Active Directory, Group Policy, and network protocols.

Certificationssuch as MCSA, MCSE, CompTIA Server+, or RHCSA are a plus.
