Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC is seeking a Business Development Executive to promote services and sell solutions through direct client contact across multiple channels. This role includes supporting existing clients, providing tracking details, and coordinating RFQs with the Global Sales Team.

The candidate will analyze client profitability and market trends to recommend pricing strategies, build strong relationships, and escalate issues promptly to ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Strong computer usage skills demonstrated capability with Microsoft Office suite.
• Proficiency with internet networking tools, e.g. LinkedIn.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet challenges with resourcefulness.
• Demonstrates effective negotiation and closing techniques.
• Excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
• Works well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop target list and initiate contact with potential clients through sales calls, social media, and promotions.
• Confirm appointments to introduce Crane Worldwide Services and build relationships with potential clients.
• Support existing clients, acting as intermediary between client and Crane Worldwide network; escalate when needed.
• Provide tracking information as requested by the client.
• Escalate shipment issues immediately to ensure prompt resolution.
• Manage all client requests and follow up to meet client needs.
• Facilitate the completion of RFQs.
• Provide marketing and proposal support for the Global Sales Team.
• Analyze client profit or loss and propose yield improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
