Job summary

Accorhotel is seeking a Cluster Director of Sales for Swiss tel Makkah and Swiss tel Al Maqam Makkah to lead sales strategy, grow accounts and drive revenue across two hotels. The role reports to the Cluster General Manager and focuses on developing a high-performing sales team and achieving targets.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in sales, hospitality, business development or another relevant business field.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Excellent communication, organisational and planning skills.
• Proven Director of Sales experience in a multi-property environment.
• Flexibility and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual sales plan for two hotels aligned with budgets, forecasts, market segments and strategy.
• Lead proactive sales across segments; grow production, acquire new accounts, and convert opportunities.
• Prepare and negotiate sales contracts and agreements per pricing and terms.
• Forecast with Revenue Management; maintain annual/monthly forecasts, pipeline and lead reports.
• Coach and develop the Sales team; set ownership, coverage, targets and performance standards.
• Present monthly sales performance to senior management and owners.
• Coordinate with Revenue, Reservations, Marketing, Distribution, Banqueting and operations to optimise performance.
