Job summary

Chalhoub Group in Jeddah is seeking a Stockroom Operative to support fashion retail operations and inventory accuracy.

You will follow stock-count policies, ensure accurate scanning of each item, escalate issues to supervisors, and cooperate with colleagues to complete stock counts and balance the floor and backroom.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to SOPs, with healthcare and flexible working policies as part of our employee benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Stockroom operative in Retail, preferably Fashion.
• Familiarity with stock counting and scanner equipment.
• Ability to follow policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow stock count policies and SOPs to keep work controlled and consistent.
• Scan each item accurately and escalate issues to the supervisor when needed.
• Highlight issues during counts and cooperate with the team to complete scanning.
• Verify collected scanners, cradle and accessories before leaving the store.

What you'll be doing

Organizational:

• Follow all relevant Stock Count policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner

Operational:

• Implement activities under close supervision Escalate complex problems to the relevant person to ensure case/issue is closed efficiently and in timely a manner
• Ensure that each individual item is accurately scanned
• Highlight all issues of concern to Supervisor during the count which may have impact on the accuracy of stock count result
• Cooperate with others to complete the Stock Count Scanning
• Ensure an accurate check/recheck of items scanned
• Ensure collection of scanners, cradle and all other accessories, count it before leaving the Store premised.

What you'll need to succeed

2 years of experince as a Stockroom operative in Retail preferably Fashion.
