Job summary

Chalhoub Group in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced Stock Controller to reinforce inventory integrity across stores and warehouses. You will monitor stock accuracy, investigate discrepancies, coordinate transfers, and support daily operations.

Strong Excel and data reporting skills, knowledge of stock management systems, and the ability to work with multiple teams are essential. Occasional off-hours work and travel between stores are part of the role.

• Excellent Excel, reporting and analytical skills.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular store visits to ensure back-of-house operational standards.
• Monitor stock accuracy, investigate discrepancies through the stock management system, and support stock counts.
• Manage PLV orders, store-to-store transfers, deliveries, returns, and stock adjustments.
• Coordinate with Stores, Warehouse, Supply Chain, and Operations to resolve stock and operational issues.
• Track FOCUS tasks and operational actions through completion.
• Analyze operational reports to identify risks, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with inventory and operational procedures.
• Support operational or maintenance activities outside regular working hours when required.

What You'll Be Doing

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Stock Control

Monitor stock accuracy, investigate discrepancies and variances, support stock counts, and ensure proper receiving, transfers, returns, and adjustments.

Systems & Data

Basic understanding of stock management systems, with the ability to learn and use the company stock management system. Strong Excel and operational reporting skills.

Operations & Supply Chain

Understand end-to-end stock flow and coordinate with Stores, Warehouse, Supply Chain, and Operations to resolve delays, shortages, and operational issues.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

Strong communication and follow-up skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and departments.

Problem Solving & Ownership

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ownership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
