Job summary

Catrion Catering Holding is seeking a Quality Control Laboratory Specialist in Jeddah to perform HACCP-based testing and support research and development activities. You will conduct precise laboratory analyses, manage samples, and ensure ISO 17025 compliance across all experiments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or microbiology, strong communication, and rigorous laboratory skills. It offers full-time employment within a food services group focused on catering and facilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or microbiology.

• Experience with laboratory testing and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests to support HACCP evaluation and investigations.
• Carry out routine tasks following strict methodologies to perform analyses.
• Record and send results after approval from lab management.
• Prepare and analyze samples (ready-to-eat food, raw materials, water).
• Design and execute testing per standard procedures and ISO 17025 requirements.
• Conduct experiments to verify hypotheses using scientific methods.
• Organize and store chemicals, media, and glassware safely.
• Record data in forms; ensure accuracy and responsibility.
• Maintain equipment and assist in ordering supplies.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed and maintain a clean environment.
• Prepare Hygiene Complaints investigation reports.

Job description

Responsible for testing ingredients and finished products to ensure from implementation of HACP correct composition and Control of all factors which may be effect on the safety of food, identify any health or quality control issues that need to be corrected. He or she will also participate in the R&D aspects of the job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory tests in order to produce reliable and precise data to support HACCP evaluation & scientific investigations.
• Carry out routine tasks accurately and following strict methodologies to carry out analyses.
• Record, and sent the results after approved from lab management.
• Receive, label, Prepare and analysis samples (ready to eat food, raw material, water etc.)
• Design and execute laboratory testing according to standard procedures & ISO 17025 requirement, make observations.
• Conduct experiments under defined conditions to verify/reject various types of hypotheses using refined scientific methods.
• Organize and store all chemicals substances, media and glass ware according to safety instructions.
• Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibility.
• Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies.
• Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
• To prepare all Hygiene Complaints investigation Reports.

Experience Required:

• 0 – 3 years of experience.

Education Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or microbiology
