• 4–5 years of professional massage/spa experience.
• Experience in a 5-star hotel, luxury spa, resort, or wellness center is highly preferred.
• Technical, trade, or vocational qualification in Massage Therapy, Spa Therapy, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of professional massage techniques and body treatments.
• Good understanding of massage contraindications and guest safety.
• Knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, sterilization, and spa safety procedures.
• Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional massage services using appropriate techniques, products, and tools.
• Perform body treatments such as scrubs, wraps, hydrotherapy, and other treatments per training and spa standards.
• Consult with guests before treatments to understand needs, preferences, and expectations.
• Assess guest needs and identify relevant massage contraindications and safety considerations.
• Confirm guest name, treatment, and preferences before starting.
• Monitor guests for comfort, safety, temperature, positioning, and pressure during treatments.
• Prepare and arrange treatment rooms, equipment, products, towels and drapes.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation, and disinfection throughout the area.
• Escort guests to/from rooms and relaxation areas and offer spa amenities.
• Promote appropriate spa treatments and retail products when suitable.

Professional and experienced Massage Therapist to join the Spa & Wellness team of a leading 5-star luxury hotel in Saudi Arabia.

The Massage Therapist will be responsible for delivering high-quality massage and body treatments while providing exceptional, personalized guest service. The successful candidate should have strong knowledge of massage techniques, spa treatments, guest safety, hygiene standards, and massage contraindications.

The role requires a professional and service-oriented individual who can create a comfortable, safe, and relaxing environment for guests while maintaining the high standards expected within a luxury hotel and spa.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional massage services using appropriate techniques, products, and massage tools.
• Perform body treatments such as body scrubs, wraps, hydrotherapy, and other treatments according to training and spa standards.
• Consult with guests before treatments to understand their needs, preferences, and expectations.
• Assess guest needs and identify relevant massage contraindications, including allergies, pregnancy, high blood pressure, and other conditions requiring treatment modification.
• Confirm the guest's name, treatment, and preferences before beginning the service.
• Regularly check with guests throughout the treatment to ensure comfort, safety, temperature, positioning, and appropriate massage pressure.
• Prepare and arrange treatment rooms, workstations, equipment, products, towels, and drapes before each appointment.
• Monitor and maintain the daily treatment schedule and ensure services are completed within the allocated time.
• Check appointment schedules regularly for updates and changes.
• Welcome and professionally escort guests to and from treatment rooms, changing areas, relaxation areas, or their next appointment.
• Offer appropriate spa amenities such as water, juice, or other available refreshments.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation, and disinfection throughout the treatment area.
• Clean, maintain, and properly sanitize massage tools and equipment.
• Dispose of used linens and waste correctly and ensure necessary supplies are available.
• Check equipment for proper functioning and report defects, damage, or safety concerns to management.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of massage techniques, spa treatments, industry trends, and current practices.
• Maintain knowledge of spa operating procedures, treatment menus, services, facilities, promotions, and products.
• Recommend and promote appropriate spa treatments and retail products according to guest needs.
• Develop positive relationships with guests and contribute to maintaining a strong client base.
• Maintain guest treatment records, history, and preferences where required.
• Deliver a warm, professional, and personalized guest experience consistent with 5-star service standards.
• Listen and respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests.
• Maintain strict guest privacy and confidentiality.
• Handle inappropriate guest behavior professionally in accordance with hotel procedures and immediately inform the supervisor/manager when required.
• Follow all hotel and spa policies, procedures, health and safety requirements, and security standards.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions immediately to the supervisor/manager.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Work cooperatively with other spa and hotel team members.
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

• 4 to5 year of relevant professional massage/spa experience.
