Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Planner & Consultant Support Engineer to strengthen early-stage engagement with planners, consultants, and design firms in Saudi Arabia. You will position Siemens solutions, provide technical guidance, and build relationships with stakeholders across departments.

The role requires deep Smart Building knowledge, English fluency, and the ability to navigate complex matrix organizations while delivering engaging technical discussions and training sessions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Smart Buildings industry, preferably with an integrator or engineering provider.
• Experience with consultants, designers, and end users is desirable.
• Background in engineering, technical sales, pre-sales, or solution consulting.
• Strong understanding of Smart Building technologies, specification processes, and consultant requirements.
• Good knowledge of BMS, fire safety systems, lighting controls, security systems, and IoT-based solutions.
• Hands-on technical experience with Smart Building solutions is a strong advantage.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactive, self-motivated team player with ownership and execution skills.
• Experience working within complex matrix organizations and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to deliver technical discussions.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Familiarity with sales processes, CRM platforms, and business workflows.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to strengthen Siemens' early-stage engagement with planners, consultants, and design firms.
• Support different departments in positioning Siemens' integrated solutions and maximizing their business impact.
• Collaborate across functions and departments to provide technical guidance and consultation to clients, consultants, and designers.
• Develop and manage relationships with planners, consultants, and key specification stakeholders.
• Manage and track opportunities using Siemens' CRM platform.
• Plan, organize, and deliver technical presentations, workshops, and training sessions for clients, consultants, and planners.
• Monitor market trends, project pipelines, and specification activities to identify new business opportunities.
