Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh seeks a Shift Engineer to perform machinist work on hotel equipment, ensuring bearings, gears, belts, shafts and control systems operate smoothly and safely, upholding the Four Seasons standard in guest service.

Required: diploma or bachelor’s in a relevant field (min 4 years), four years’ technical training/experience, Saudi Council of Engineers certificate, English proficiency, and experience with laundry, HVAC, kitchen equipment and electrical systems; plus basic MS

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (min. 4 years).
• Four years of technical training and field experience as a machinist or operations engineer.
• Saudi Council of Engineers certificate.
• English language proficiency (reading, writing, verbal).
• Background with laundry, HVAC, kitchen equipment and electrical systems.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Good communications skills for daily coordination.

Responsibilities

• Area of responsibility is Engineering.
• Shift Engineer role includes machinist work to maintain hotel equipment.
• Ensure bearings, gears, belts, shafts and control mechanisms operate reliably.
• Contribute to delivering a high-quality guest experience through proper maintenance.

Education

Diploma or bachelor’s degree relevant to the role

Saudi Council of engineers certificate

Reading, writing and oral proficiency in English

Background with laundry, HVAC, kitchen equipment and electrical

Must have basic computer skills (MS Office)

Must have good communications skills
