Job summary

AccorHotel in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced Engineering Supervisor to lead and coordinate the maintenance team across hotel facilities. You will diagnose issues, supervise engineers, and ensure compliance with hotel standards while coordinating with contractors and other departments. Flexibility for shifts is essential.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in engineering or maintenance within hospitality or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of hotel building systems and preventive maintenance programs.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and engineering standards and procedures.
• Ability to diagnose technical issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Engineering team
• Assign maintenance tasks and monitor completion to ensure quality and timely execution
• Conduct regular inspections of guest areas, back-of-house areas, plant rooms, equipment, and hotel facilities
• Ensure preventive maintenance programs are carried out according to schedules
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, operational issues, and emergencies
• Troubleshoot technical problems and support the team in identifying solutions
• Monitor building systems (M&E, HVAC, plumbing) and ensure safe operation
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs and servicing
• Coordinate with contractors and external service providers when required
• Support energy conservation and sustainability initiatives within Engineering
• Ensure workshops and engineering areas are clean, safe and organized
• Communicate maintenance requirements and priorities to other departments
• Assist with training and development of Engineering staff
• Support management with projects, inspections and reporting
