Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Service Trainer to develop and deliver practical training for field service teams and customers on PGSV portfolio and high voltage equipment. You will ensure safe, reliable operations and align training with industry standards.

You will lead internal and external training sessions, oversee certification for field personnel, maintain the Service Academy, and continually update training materials while staying current with regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years in a technical or field service role, ideally with high voltage equipment.
• Experience with high voltage equipment such as HV breakers, GIS, GCB, PASS, disconnectors, power quality equipment, and digital stations is a differentiator.
• Excellent communication in Arabic and English; ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

• Enhance onboarding programs to support successful integration and early productivity.

Your background

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.


• Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical or field service role, ideally with high voltage equipment.


• Familiarity with high voltage equipment such as High Voltage Breakers (Dead Tank, Live Tank), GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear), GCB (Generator Circuit Breaker), PASS (Plug & Switch System), High Voltage Disconnectors and Grounding Switches, Power Quality Equipment, and Digital Stations is a significant differentiator.


• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and in English and ability to collaborate in cross-functional team.


• Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering concepts.


• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.


• Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
