Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Service Trainer to build and advance the skills of field service teams and customers.

You will deliver practical training on PGSV portfolio, including high voltage systems, ensuring safe and reliable operations across the industry. The role requires a technical background, strong communication in Arabic and English, and a passion for sharing knowledge to drive industry excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years in a technical or field service role, ideally with high voltage equipment
• Familiarity with high voltage equipment such as breakers, GIS, PASS, disconnectors and digital stations is a differentiator
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English, with cross-functional collaboration capability

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging technical training on PGSV portfolio equipment and safety protocols
• Lead and deliver training sessions for internal teams and external customers
• Oversee the certification process for field service personnel
• Maintain a state-of-the-art Service Academy and its equipment
• Prepare and update comprehensive training documentation and bulletins
• Provide expert technical support and advice to field service teams
• Collaborate with business units to align training with company strategy
• Continuously enhance your own technical knowledge and certifications
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
• Enhance onboarding programs to support successful integration and early productivity
• Execute training plans aligned to business and operational goals
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, customer requirements, industry standards, regulations and company guidelines
