Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Saudi Arabia seeks a Service Trainer to develop and deliver practical training for field service teams and customers on PGSV portfolio equipment, with emphasis on safety and reliability. You will lead sessions, oversee certification for field staff, and maintain the Service Academy and documentation.

The ideal candidate has a technical degree, 5+ years in HV-related roles, and strong Arabic/English communication to collaborate across cross-functional teams and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in a technical or field service role with HV equipment.
• Familiarity with HV equipment including breakers, GIS, GCB, PASS, disconnectors, power quality gear, or digital stations.
• Excellent Arabic and English communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

Your background

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical or field service role, ideally with high voltage equipment.
• Familiarity with high voltage equipment such as High Voltage Breakers (Dead Tank, Live Tank), GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear), GCB (Generator Circuit Breaker), PASS (Plug & Switch System), High Voltage Disconnectors and Grounding Switches, Power Quality Equipment, and Digital Stations is a significant differentiator.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and in English and ability to collaborate in cross-functional team.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering concepts.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
