Job summary

Kent is seeking a Senior Supply Chain/Procurement Specialist to join our growing engineering team in Khobar, Saudi Arabia. You will manage critical procurement activities, negotiations, and supplier performance to support major oil & gas projects.

The role emphasizes contract execution, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration with project teams to align procurement with business needs and cost objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certification such as CIPS or equivalent is beneficial.
• 7+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Strong understanding of purchase-to-pay processes and supplier management.
• Experience with procurement tools and ERP systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisition of subcontracts, materials and services.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and manage vendor relationships.
• Support contract negotiations and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
• Post-award management of assigned subcontracts and procurement packages.
• Assist in procurement reporting and tracking performance against objectives.
• Provide technical support to procurement teams and contribute to process improvements.
• Perform other duties as required.

To manage critical procurement activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role involves contract negotiations, supplier management, and procurement strategy execution. The incumbent works closely with project teams to align procurement efforts with business needs, identifies cost-saving opportunities, and ensures compliance with procurement regulations and policies. They also support procurement reporting and analytics, track market trends, and assist in supplier performance evaluations.
