Job summary

Strong Red Sea Coastal Trading Company, a logistics subsidiary under Red Sea Global, seeks a Senior Specialist - Transportation to optimize freight, manage carrier relations, and ensure compliant, cost-efficient movement of goods across Saudi Arabia.

You will lead transportation strategy, monitor KPIs, negotiate rates, and guide client shipments while leveraging TMS and tech tools to improve visibility and service levels.

Qualifications

• Recognized degree in Business, Analytics or Data Management related field (MBA preferred).
• A minimum of 5 to 6 years in a supply chain and logistics operations field.
• Team player. Problem solving. Team leader. Good connection with vendor.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and coordinating the transportation of goods including scheduling, tracking shipments and managing carrier relationships.
• Negotiating contracts and rates with carriers to secure competitive pricing and reliable service.
• Analyzing transportation costs and identifying opportunities to reduce expenses while maintaining service quality.
• Ensuring compliance with transportation regulations, customs requirements and trade laws.
• Providing guidance and support to clients on transportation logistics routing options and regulatory considerations.
• Developing and implementing strategic transportation plans to optimize service levels, minimize transit times and reduce costs.
• Tracking and analyzing transportation KPIs to identify areas for improvement and drive operational efficiency.
• Identifying and mitigating transportation-related risks such as delays, disruptions and compliance issues.
