Confidential in Riyadh is seeking a detail‑oriented Transportation Specialist to coordinate daily dispatch, optimize fleet utilization, and ensure timely, cost‑effective deliveries.

You will work with warehouses, customer service, and sales to maintain transportation workflows, manage PODs, vehicle maintenance, driver hours, and produce weekly performance reports.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related fields.
• 2–3 years hands-on experience in transportation, dispatch, or fleet management.
• Strong Excel, ERP, and fleet management software skills.
• Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate daily transportation activities, including customer deliveries and inter-warehouse transfers.
• Prepare daily delivery plans, vehicle assignments, and dispatch schedules with dispatchers and drivers.
• Monitor dispatch execution and track order fulfillment; communicate delays or issues.
• Coordinate with warehouse, customer service, and sales teams to maintain seamless workflows.
• Ensure delivery documents and proofs of delivery (POD) are accurately completed.

Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Transportation Specialist to coordinate and execute transportation and dispatch operations, manage daily logistics activities, optimize fleet utilization, and ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective deliveries to customers and between warehouses.

Core Responsibilities

Dispatch & Transportation Operations:

Coordinate daily transportation activities, including customer deliveries and inter-warehouse transfers.

Prepare daily delivery plans, vehicle assignments, and dispatch schedules in coordination with dispatchers and drivers.

Monitor dispatch execution, track order fulfillment, and ensure timely communication of delays or operational issues.

Coordinate with warehouse operations, customer service, and sales teams to maintain seamless transportation workflows.

Ensure delivery documents and proofs of delivery (POD) are accurately completed and recorded.

Fleet & Driver Management:

Monitor fleet availability, daily utilization, and vehicle deployment.

Coordinate preventive maintenance and vehicle repairs with service providers and internal teams.

Track and update vehicle documentation, insurance, registrations, and inspection validity.

Monitor driver routes, trip compliance, and working hours.

Cost Optimization & Performance Tracking:

Monitor fuel consumption, transportation expenses, overtime, and outsourced transport costs.

Identify opportunities for route optimization to minimize operating costs and reduce empty trips.

Track daily dispatch metrics and prepare weekly and monthly transportation performance reports.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in transportation, dispatch, or fleet management operations.

Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and fleet management software.

Knowledge: Solid understanding of Saudi logistics operations, route planning, and fleet maintenance practices.

Language: Full fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic.
