Job summary

Penspen, a leading energy services company, seeks a Senior Scheduling/Planning Engineer (Offshore) for the PMS project in Khafji, Saudi Arabia. You will oversee the project controls team and support the client-side PM in delivering a comprehensive project program with a focus on schedule, cost and risk management.

The role requires extensive experience in planning and budgeting for major oil and gas projects, with strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of experience with at least 10 years in project management, planning, scheduling, cost estimation and budget control for major oil and gas projects.
• PMC experience at similar role for several years is preferable.
• Working knowledge of various contracting types and strategies related to project execution.

We are looking for a Senior Scheduling/Planning Engineer (Offshore), to work in our PMS project in Khafji in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role is accountable for the management of the project controls team deployed on various projects. Project control support is given to Project Management team who acts on behalf of the client (Khafji Joint Operations, KJO) and delivers the program of projects.

The role will also be involved in review of early-stage deliverables (FEL1 and FEL2), as far as cost, schedule and risk is concerned, produced by KJO front end development department.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills)

• At least fourteen (14) years of experience of which at least ten (10) years in direct involvement in project management, planning, scheduling, cost estimation, cost and budget control, procurement tracking and monitoring / forecasting of engineering and construction activities for major oil and gas projects.
• PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
• Working knowledge of various contracting types and strategies related to project execution.
• Prior experience in schedule and cost benchmarking of oil and gas upstream projects.
• Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient. Working knowledge of Primavera P6 package.
