Job summary

Penspen Ltd in Saudi Arabia seeks a Senior Project Engineer to coordinate engineering across EPC contractor, client and multiple disciplines, ensuring design deliverables meet scope, cost and quality.

You will support in managing RFIs, interface resolutions, constructability alignment, and progress meetings; monitor submittals and vendor documents; contribute to project performance summaries and reporting. Based in Alkhafji.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in the appropriate field.
• Diploma in Engineering in the appropriate field.
• Experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical Onshore projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering between EPC contractor, client, and multiple disciplines.
• Review design deliverables, schedules, and progress to ensure conformance to scope, cost and quality.
• Support Senior Project Engineer and Construction Manager with RFIs and interface resolutions.
• Monitor material submittals, vendor documents, and construction readiness of critical systems.
• Support project reporting and contribute to the preparation of project performance summaries.

Job Description:

Provide project engineering coordination between EPC contractor, client, and multiple technical disciplines to ensure smooth project execution. Review and monitor design deliverables, schedules, and progress to ensure compliance with scope, cost, and quality requirements. Support the Senior Project Engineer and Construction Manager in managing technical issues, RFIs, and interface resolutions. Verify that engineering designs align with constructability, commissioning, and operation requirements. Participate in design and progress meetings, track action items, and ensure closure. Monitor material submittals, vendor documents, and construction readiness of critical systems. Support project reporting and contribute to the preparation of project performance summaries.

Required Experience Criteria in years

Alternative (I): Ten (10) years Alternative (II): Fourteen (14) years Experience in engineering, procurement, construction, contract administration, coordination and project support activities for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical Onshore projects.

Minimum Education Qualification Required:

Alternative (I) Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in the appropriate field. Alternative (II) Diploma in Engineering in the appropriate field.

The job location will be based on Alkhafji , Saudi Arabia.
